The MV Ulla Rinman is available for scientific research expeditions in Arctic waters. Whether you require climate monitoring, marine research, wildlife observation, or documentary logistics, our vessel provides a stable, ice-strengthened basecamp for your mission.

How it works

1. Define Your Research Goals

2. Customize Your Charter

We offer flexible charter durations and adaptable research configurations, including:

✔ Crew and logistics support tailored to your mission

3. Plan Logistics & Equipment

  • CTD Winch – Electric-driven, variable speed, 600m wire, 80kg load (for sediment sampling, plankton nets, etc.)

  • Hydraulic Cranes/Winches – Foredeck: SWL 0.5t / 7m | Aftdeck: SWL 0.7t / 4m

  • Large Dinghy: Zodiac Milpro MK5 HD (15-person capacity, Yamaha 50hp)

  • Second Dinghy: Pioner 14ft (5-person capacity, Suzuki 30hp)

  • Scuba Diving Equipment – Lead weights, tanks, and onboard compressors (eliminating the need to bring dive gear by plane)

  • Additional Equipment Can Be Mounted or Rented – E.g., advanced diving equipment for underwater surveys

4. Confirm & Prepare for Departure

Once the details are finalized, we coordinate the expedition timeline, crew, and any additional logistics.
